Phát âm tiếng anh nâng cao – Unit 51: Câu cảm thán – Học Hay
A.
A: Dan got the job!
B: GREAT (rise-fall)!
A: It’s incredible to think that it’s over 100 years old.
B: AMAzing (rise-fall)!
A: Sounds really good, doesn’t it?
B: FanTAStic (rise-fall)!
A: The flight’s been cancelled.
B: GREAT (fall).
A: The computer’s crashed again.
B: WONderful (fall).
A: Jack’s just bought a new car. It’s pink.
B: PINK (rise-fall)!
A: This cheese is frozen.
B: FROzen (rise-fall)!
B.
A: They’re stupid to close the school.
B: ABsolutely riDICulous (rise-fall).
A: Karl’s given up his college course.
B: He must be comPLEtely MAD (rise-fall).
A: Were the instructions any good?
B: they were TOtally incompreHENsible (rise-fall).
HOW emBARrassing (rise-fall)!
HOW COOL. (rise-fall)! (= very good; informal)
C.
Youre JOking (rise-fall)!
NONsense (rise-fall)!
A: They’ve got diamonds in them. B: DIAmonds (rise-fall)!
D.
A: tt only cost me C10. Bs REALIy (rise-fall)! (= I’m surprised)
B: REALIy (rise)? (= I’m not sure I believe you)
